Muddy Terrain

Well, I've not been committed to writing as frequently as I would prefer. It's just that I always want to "out do" myself. I set the sights high and typically wait for inspiration that breathes through legendary writing. Maybe it's time to bounce away from that standard and write more frequently. Maybe this will bring a new sense of inspiration.

Lately, one thing that has been hitting my mind is marketing. I'm back reading another book by Seth Godin and he never disappoints. One thing that I despise is "marketing Jesus" yet it seems that lately all of my "marketing" thinking pertains to spreading the Gospel in this post-Christian culture. None of my ideas are for advertising Jesus and never will be...yet, it's difficult for me to explain this fully. More to come on this, soon.

Check out Rocketboom.com (I encountered this new wave of journalism while briefly watching a special on TV the other night). An interesting new form of reporting and I'm intrigued by it.
